Mit Adjektiven schnell zur Stelle sein, wenn ein neuer Tonträger erscheint, das ist die eine Sache. Letztlich zeigt sich erst viel später, ob das oft intuitiv gefällte Urteil auch eine Abbildung im „Hier und Jetzt“ zeitigt. In meinem Fall - ich höre Musik meist erst Monate oder Jahre nach dem Erscheinen tatsächlich an - führt das bisweilen zu bösen Überraschungen. Doch ab und zu kommt es auch vor, dass ein Album, zu dem ich den Ausführenden bereits gratuliert habe, mir tatsächlich gefällt. In diesem Fall covert einer, dessen Album oft läuft, ein Lied das oft läuft.
